The Community Health Center of Austell, Georgia (CHC) provides affordable quality medical and dental care to non-insured patients. CHC wanted to upgrade their old web site to a modern, blog-based system. In addition, CHC wanted the capability to accept online donations.

Challenges

Create a design which is aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-use
Develop a system which can handle general and specific (to particular departments or patients) donations
Implement a blog and train administrators on how to use the system

Approach

We used a very calm, soothing color scheme to convey serenity and trust
The design is sleek, professional, and very easy-to-use
The donations section was developed using JavaScript and emphasis was placed on making donations as simple and easy as possible
The web site is based on WordPress, a powerful, open-source blogging engine
