Avant-G Clothing was a start-up apparels company primarily selling designer tee-shirts. The company did not have a brick-and-mortar store, and instead wanted to be online exclusive. Avant-G wanted us to create an online presence which not only had a blog, ecommerce capability, and a content management system, but also conveyed the style and artistry of their shirts.

Challenges

Design and develop a unique brand and graphical user interface that conveys the modern and urban style of the clothing
Implement an intuitive ecommerce system that makes purchasing products natural
Incorporate a blog that allows the site’s administrators to easily manage content

Approach

We worked with Avant-G’s lead designer to develop a very stylish concept for the design of the web site
We extensively used jQuery, a JavaScript library, to add numerous functional enhancements to the web site
The web site was built on a highly customized version of WordPress that allowed for ecommerce capability
